Tapan Modak & Santanu Bhowmick

Following the release of their CD 'Songs of Sri Chinmoy', we are pleased to welcome Tapan Modak and Santanu Bhowmick to perform in Songs of the Soul.

Tapan is no stranger to Songs of the Soul, having performed on tabla alongside lengendary Bengali singer Rezwana Choudhury Bannya in last year's August 2008 concert in New York. He has performed throughout the United States, Europe, Asia,and South America. He is a highly versatile artist, having performed alongside many of India's famous classical musicians as well as with western groups.

Santanu Bhowmick is a rising star on the horizon of Indian Music today and has also performed all over the world. A previous winner of all-Bengal music competitions, his performances have always had a diverse range of colours and rhythms.
