SONGS OF THE SOUL An international celebration of the music of Sri Chinmoy and Rabindranath Tagore
On 13 December in Dhaka, Bangladesh, a historic concert will be performed celebrating the music of Sri Chinmoy and Rabindranath Tagore, two of the greatest Bangla composers.

The concert convenes singers and musicians from around the world, together with those from Bangladesh, in an ensemble bound by their love of music and deep desire to share the power of music in crossing cultural boundaries, lifting the soul and changing the human condition.
In this one night concert, Rezwana Choudhury Bannya (right) and the students of Shurer Dhara will be joined by the international Gandharva Loka Orchestra in a musical experience that will take the audience on a journey through the depth, power and vastness of Sri Chinmoy and Rabindranath Tagore's musical compositions. The concert will be an outer expression of the oneness and harmony to which we all aspire.
Sri Chinmoy said: "You sing, therefore even in the teeming darkness, there is a candle flame that brightly shines"
Sir Rabindranath Tagore said: "Music fills the infinite between two souls"
